I am a bibliomasochist. I actually bought a VC Andrews book. No really. In the same way I bought the Incubus Dreams (anita blake) and Blackwood Farm (anne rice). I buy them because I enjoy the pain experienced seeing how far into the book I can get before it all just becomes Too Much To Bear. In the case of the VCA book: the first page of chapter two. I feel slightly dissapointed in myself.
I was able to reach the end of Robert Jordan's laterst WoT offering. This would be because I only paid attention to only 2 out of a freaking bajillion character storylines. =D And they were pretty short because the author has severe ADD.
Note: My assumption that the "All Aes Sedai are Big Gay Lezbians" theory was merely the result of fandom logic and phallic symbolism as been proven wholly incorrect. In the future, preparing oneself for the term "pillow friends" would be wise in avoiding the scrutiny caused by snickering loudly in public.

I owe so much to Flowers in the Attic. :D

...Flowers in the Attic was love. Because even if you absolutely loathed the characters, at least you had the satisfaction of witnessing their torture/misery/whatnot and soforth. This one...
")': My daddy said mean things to us and didn't tell my sister 'happy birthday'. *criez*"
...I mean, where's an attic when you need one?

I think it's significant that a lot of the books were published by her family after she died. I think she realized how shameful these books are.

Yeah, you'd think they'd have run out of her "old story notes and unfinished plot outlines" by now. Shameless, yo, shameless.

I read through the Anita Blake series up to book 10, then I kinda lost time and couldnt find the rest of the books. It was becoming a "romance novel" more and more XD
